# Create Recurring Payment

> What are the API calls to initiate recurring payments?

This flow allows a merchant to initiate transactions to the merchant from a customer who previously approved a billing agreement.

The Create Recurring Payment call is idempotent, so it is safe for you to retry requests within 24 hours using the same unique request ID.
