Magento 1
Magento is open-source payment platform that is highly adaptable to various needs.
Before you begin
- Ensure that your Magento version is 1.7 or later for Magento Community Edition or 1.14 or later for Magento Enterprise Edition
- The store currency must match the region where your Clearpay account is registered. From the Magento Admin, navigate to System > Configuration > Currency Setup > Currency Options. Set Base Currency, Default Display Currency and Allowed Currencies to the currency that matches your Clearpay account region
- Go to System > Configuration > General. Set Postcode and State to mandatory. Ensure that postal code is not configured as optional for any country that Clearpay is being applied to. Include your Clearpay account region in State is required for. Click Save Config
Installing and configuring the Clearpay extension
- Download the Clearpay extension from the GitHub repository here.
- Unzip the extension and save it into your Magento 1 root directory.
- Flush the Magento system cache by logging into your Magento Admin. Navigate to System > Cache Management. Select Flush Cache Storage.
- Navigate to System > Configuration > Sales > Payment Methods > Clearpay.
Store Level
Please navigate to the correct store level
We advise you not to use 'Default Store Level'
- Set the following values:

- Navigate to System > Configuration > Sales > Clearpay.
- Set the following values:

- Flush the Magento system cache again. Navigate to System > Cache Management. Select Flush Cache Storage.
Updating the Clearpay extension
- Remove old Clearpay extension files:

- Download and install the latest version of the Clearpay extension as described above.
